Maintenance and adjustment of the carburetor
Structure of the carburetor
In the event of faults of the carburetor such as starting difficulty, unstable idle speed, power shortage and oil leakage, clean and adjust the carburetor promptly.
Dismantle the carburetor, firstly clean the external parts of the carburetor, and then dismantle and clean each main part (it can be cleaned by special detergent for carburetor). The main cleaning parts are main oil passage orifice, main nozzle, float chamber and pin valve and so on. Thoroughly clean the sediment and foreign matter in the carburetor, such as iron rust, dirt and gliosome. Assemble and install the carburetor after it is cleaned.
Note: do not insert sharp and hard metal object into the orifice to avoid damaging the orifice. Do not damage the front end of the coning part of the pin valve so as to avoid oil leakage.
When adjusting the idle speed, start the engine
Outdoors and preheat it for 3 minutes.
Standard rotating speed of idle speed: 1400 rpm±150rpm
